Join Northern Sweden's Biggest Game Jam!

Get ready to create at one of the most unique and cosy Global Game Jam sites in the world – we’re excited to welcome you back to Jörn!

From Friday through Sunday, let your creativity thrive in the beautiful, snowy landscapes of Jörn in Skellefteå Municipality. Hosted at the Jörn Experience Hotel, our jam site offers everything from a cosy fireplace to darts, bowling, and a bar in the evenings.

Here, you’ll not only make games but also enjoy an inspiring blend of work and winter wonderland.

2024 made headlines in various media, and we welcomed people from all over Scandinavia to Jörn:

  • 118 on-site participants
  • 50 remote jammers
  • 70 % of participants from outside Skellefteå
  • 11 games created

This year, we’re aiming even higher, and you’re invited to be part of it!

What to Expect:

Friday, January 24, 2025

  • 13:00 – Hotel check-in opens
  • 15:00–18:00 – Indie Game Dev Skellefteå Summit
  • 18:00–19:00 – Game Jam Kickoff: Form teams and start creating!
  • 19:00–21:00 – Arctic Game Mixer: Mingle with the local game industry

Ticket - Without Accommodation 100 SEK 

Access ticket for Indie Game Dev Summit and 3-day event without sleeping accommodation.

Early Bird Hotel Ticket - Shared Room (2 nights, limited availability) 450 SEK 

Package ticket for Indie Game Dev Summit, 3-day event and shared hotel room (limited availability). Shared beds, contact us if we should try to put you with someone you know. Buy for until 31st of December 2024, afterwards 600 SEK.

Early Bird Ticket - Sports Arena Sleeping (2 nights) 150 SEK 

Package ticket for the 3-day event and accommodation in the Sports Arena. Bring your own sleeping bag, pillow, and mattress (or add a mattress as an add-on). Available for purchase until December 31, 2024, afterwards 200 SEK.

Equipment: Wired and Wi-Fi internet are provided – don’t forget your network cable for smooth jamming!

Food & Drinks: Enjoy free energy drinks from Latitude 65 throughout the event. We’ll provide basics like fruit and sandwiches, but you’ll need to cover other meals yourself.

Shared Hotel Room: Shared beds, contact us if we should try to put you with someone you know here.
